Entertaining facts inform you about Parkstein and the volcanic landscape of Bavaria-Bohemia. Short films provide a glimpse into the origins of the basalt cone and the town’s colorful history. The highlight of our exhibit is a volcanic eruption across three floors. A few minutes before the top of every hour, you can experience the once fiery moun- tain erupt first hand!
